We finished the season with a relatively comfortable win over the National Theatre, in a rain affected match/day that was more suited to floodlit football than cricket. We batted first and opening with Kieron and Harsh, who both made 63, we were off to a tremendous start, when in over 21 we had to give in to the persistent rain and take an early tea. The rain abated c.4pm and we resumed agreeing to reduce the game to 30 overs per side, Matt Morgan (44no) and Tim (22no) batted out the remaining 9 overs, impressively getting us to 263 off of our 30 overs.

Whilst bowling was difficult with the mis-shaped bar of soap called the 'match ball' Simon Boughey and James C both took early wickets and kept it tight, the NT rallied a liitle mid game with a good 60 from their no 5, but continued good bowling from Messrs. Bowstead and Davies coupled with good fielding, we got two run outs(both Graeme) as the pressure mounted, and as the darkness closed in we were never in much danger as we concluded the final 5 overs. The NT only getting to 183 off of their 30 overs.

So great to finish with a win, which took us to double figures for the season in the 'W' column!
