Strollers seal winning end to superb season
posted: September 28, 2014

The Strollers rounded off a wonderful weekend and a splendid season today with victory in the now traditional 'test match' grand finale against our favourite foes, the Battersea Bohemians — an historic win that meant that we, for the first time this century, end a season 'in credit' with more wins than losses.

There were numerous fine performances including a swashbuckling 70 from Cameron and Spencer customarily contributing both with bat and ball - with match figures of 7-47 and hitting 70 runs. But, most of all, congratulations must go to skipper Tom for orchestrating not only a fine double header of wins this weekend, but also a vintage season!
