Ron runs rampage as Strollers hand out a hiding to the HICCs

The Strollers made it successive wins on the bounce over the Highgate Irregulars as we romped to a 9 wicket victory in our first T20 match of the season at Ally Pally on Thursday evening. Having restricted the oppo to 149-6 – thanks in no small part to a tidy threefer for Ron – we made swift work of knocking off runs.

Once again man of the match Ron starred as, having been promoted to oepn the innings, he smashed his way to a spectacular unbeaten 96 – including no less than seven huge sixes! – ably supported by Spencer who hit a valuable 32 not out. Let's keep up the winning momentum as we travel out to Chesham Bois this Sunday!
