Southgate sneak past Strollers in nail-biter
posted: August 25, 2020

We unfortunately ended up on the wrong side of a nail-biter on Sunday afternoon at Cockfosters CC where, in a hastily-arranged fixture, we took on Southgate Compton. Having posted a modest 168 our bowlers persevered to give us a sniff of victory (with débutant Fenil in particular shining with 3-25) only to see us lose out in the penultimate over. A great match nonetheless and thanks to Southgate for offering us a game!
