Taverners ease to T20 win
posted: July 22, 2012

The Railway Taverners eased their way to a comfortable 7 wicket victory over the Strollers at North Middlesex CC on Friday evening. Despite winning the toss, careless shot selection on too many occasions cost the Strollers batsmen dear and with the only notable contributions coming from Gav (28) and a late cameo from Gideon (23) we were skittled for a below par 109. Aside from a couple of early wickets the Taverners never looked troubled in their innings as they reached their target with 6 overs to spare.
