Archway Ladder reaches Strollers target with time to spare
posted: July 7, 2022

After Sunday's defeat to the Bohos, our fortunes sadly failed to improve in last night's T20 when we were comfortably beaten way to the Archway Ladder at Old Camdenians. Having posted a respectable if not towering 176 – built largely upon an impressive 67 (taking him past 2,000 Stroller runs!) from Abhik before he was triggered out LBW – and despite early inroads thanks to some sharp glovework from Dave 'the Kitten' Couldrey, the oppo were able to mount a strong response with number three Ishan smashing 84 before George had him stumped.

But it was too little too late and in the end Archway cruised past the winning line with 5 overs to spare. Hopefully we will return to winning ways before long...
