Strollers railroad Taverners to clinch latest T20
posted: June 02, 2022

The Strollers maintained our unbeaten start to the 2022 season at Old Camdenians last night, cantering to a handsome 8 wicket victory over the Railway Taverners. Having won the toss, the oppo were restricted to post only a modest 118-8 from their allotted overs with wickets shared between Abhik, Shayaan and Spencer, supported by another solid effort in the field.

Our response was clinical and led by Ron – once again opening the innings in the shorter format – who nabbed another unbeaten half century, once again ably supported by Spencer (28) and Gaurav (19*). We hit the winning runs with an over to spare and celebrated our second T20 win on the bounce and our fourth consecutive victory in a row... heady times!
