A rising star amongst our ranks, Dave 'Davie G' Gorton was introduced to the Strollers in 2016 by his cousin, our esteemed former skipper Tom 'Bowler' Harvey. Immediately fitting right in with his affable demeanor, slingy medium pace and even slingier approach to batting it was no surprise at all that he fast-tracked his way to the vice captaincy just one season later. In the spirit of full disclosure we will say for the record that any accusations of nepotism are as wide of the mark as Gorton's customary 'loosener'.
