In the latest T20 clash at North Middlesex CC last night, it was the Railway Tavern who emerged victorious after they posted a huge 175-4 from their allotted overs, including a monumental 94 not out from Dave Terry. It wasn't all one way traffic, with Guy Barker almost claiming a hat-trick and Tim Sturm holding onto a brilliant catch on the midwicket boundary, but the Tavern had wickets in hand so batted with freedom to leave the Strollers requiring over 8 per over. In response, for some time the Strollers were piling on the runs above the required rate, with Harsh on explosive form before he fell to a fine catch in the deep having made 41. From then on the remaining Strollers batsmen soldiered on - Matt's 27 the best of the rest - and were able to post a respectable 143 in reply although, clearly, it was not enough.
