Strollers overpowered by Old Fallopians

The third game of the season yesterday sadly descended into a decidedly one-sided affair as the Old Fallopians made hay at a chilly Ferme Park and piled on 260-6 off 35 overs. This thanks mainly to a thunderous 90 not out from the Fallopians number six, the giant Tempany. Only a fine spell from Rob Davies (whose figures of 3-36 were a personal best) and Jeremy Gillies - who took two excellent catches - provided any real highlights for the home side before early wickets and a slow run rate meant the Strollers innings never got started and we finished far adrift on 114 all out.
