An enthusiastic cricketer who, like most Strollers, becomes more of a rounded player each season. A keen tourist, Deavs helped organize the Ireland and Spanish tours and Captained the first "Cat Herding" exercise to Benidorm.

Unfortunately, the sunshine senior citizen hosts were impressed more with our drinking stamina than with our ability with bat and ball and the lack of an invite back to Spain has been blamed on Spanish postmen.

After spending the last two seasons pretending that he is a league cricketer, the realisation has now finally hit home that Deavs is simply not good enough and has returned to the ample Stroller fold to finish his cricketing career with an ungainly flourish.
