Career highlights include being out for a duck twice
in the same innings - having batted at 7 and 9 due to
low-turnout - and he has frequently batted as low down
the order as 6 on similar occasions. Greatest achievement
to date is his role in nursing Horwood to a half century
at Chippenham where Whyte lasted for over 10 overs,
scoring a massive 9 runs. Despite this he stills see
himself as a Gower-like bat.
